Anointing Oil Roll-On Myrrh

Myrrh, an exotic biblical spice, was used in purification and beautification rites, in the formula for the Holy Anointing Oil, and in burial spices. With pre-Biblical usage in ancient Egypt, myrrh is one of the oldest spices in history. It has been used as a flavoring for food, medicine, painkiller, disinfectant and most famously, a perfume.

It's sweet-smoky fragrance is distinctive, and when mixed with a carrier oil, creates a tempting and timeless scent. Here, myrrh essential oil is combined with pure olive oil harvested from olives grown around Jerusalem's hills.
